Groundbreaking ceremony for the "TrioLiving" residential complex
ATP Vienna has designed 114 apartments on Vienna’s Rennweg.
Vienna, 12.05.2016 – An artistic start for the construction of the residential project commissioned by the clients Süba and Wienwert. In front of a live audience and accompanied by music from the ballet “Swan Lake” a Graffiti artist created an over-dimensional 180-square-meter artwork representing the new residential complex.
The “Schwedenbombe” was invented in this location in 1926. Exactly nine decades later the former home of the renowned Vienna confectionery factory Niemetz is again becoming something very special. Around 120 housing units created on the vacant site close to the city center will “sweeten” the lives of many home-seekers.
ATP Vienna was commissioned with the integrated design of the building complex between Rennweg and Aspangstraße following its success in a realization competition. The complex is notable for, amongst other things, its efficient use of space and the sophisticated connection between the various elements. Completion is planned for 2017.
According to project leader and architect Hannes Achammer: “the residential complex is energized by the different qualities of Rennweg and Aspangstraße and the very special design of the axis connecting these two sides.”
