Innsbruck/Vienna, 09/03/2025
Corporate news

With the middle of the year, ATP architects engineers completed a well-prepared change at the top of the company: Albert Achammer took over the chairmanship of the four-member Board of the ATP Group, succeeding his father, Christoph M. Achammer, who had shaped ATP's success story as CEO and Univ. Prof. at the TU Vienna for over four decades. He will continue to be associated with the company as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Senior Advisor for strategic issues.

I build on a strong foundation, with respect for my father's entrepreneurial achievements and the commitment to ensure continuity. Our history gives us stability so that we can develop dynamically and explore new paths. I look forward to the exciting challenge of leading our team into the future. Our goal remains: integrated design and consulting with the highest quality, technical excellence, and a lived responsibility towards our clients, partners, and employees.

As an architect at ATP, I live out the conviction daily that planning and construction are a collective task. We see ourselves as problem solvers, and our strength lies in smooth collaboration amidst high complexity. We work in transparent, data-based processes, thus providing reliable quality in planning and consultancy.

Company History in Three Generations
The transition marks the beginning of the third generation in the management of the company, which emerged about 50 years ago from a traditional architectural office and has since been setting standards as a pioneer in digital integrated design. Founded in 1951 by Architect ETH Fred Achammer as an architectural office focusing on industrial construction in Innsbruck, ATP developed from 1976 with its partners Sigfrid Tritthart and Gunther Fröhlich into an integrated planning office that combines all planning disciplines – architecture, structural engineering, building services engineering, and site supervision – under one roof. With the entry of Christoph M. Achammer in 1987, the company expanded steadily in terms of content and geography. Today, the ATP Group operates in DACH and CEE as a highly qualified digital competence platform for complex construction projects that require integrated design expertise. With Albert Achammer, the strategic focus on digitalization and AI is strengthened to enhance the quality of consulting and planning and further optimize the built environment for customer benefit and environmental protection.
