2012-12-01 Flagship juice bar from RAUCH
Trendy, fruity, sustainable: first RAUCH juice bar has opened in Vienna's 7 th district.
With the opening of the flagship bar near to the Mariahilferstraße in Vienna’s trendy 7th district the Austrian fruit juice producer RAUCH has put smoothies, fruit juices and healthy snacks on the menu.
The concept, planning and integrated design was the work of ATP Architects and Engineers in cooperation with studio thörnblom. Their solution took first prize in an invited competition. The focus of the design was the creation of a harmonic interior through the combination of natural materials, modern architecture and tradition.
For the bar, which had to be integrated in an existing building, two small shop units were combined, refurbished and modernized. The state-of-the-art building technology including underfloor heating means that the RAUCH juice bar combines trendy style with maximum comfort. In spring and summer the bar will also open outwards in the form of a typical Viennese pavement café.
