“bilding” receives the client prize
Another award for the art and architecture school supported by ATP.
Linz, 4th November 2016 – Six buildings chosen from a total of 100 entries were presented with the Austrian Client Prize in a ceremony at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz. One of the major winners was “bilding”, Austria’s first art and culture school. ATP architects engineers is delighted by the success of this unique project which it has actively supported from the very beginning. In 2014 ATP’s traditional Christmas donation went towards the construction of the futuristic-looking timber structure. The workshop enables children and young people to further their aesthetic interests, free of charge.
“The project offers young people an opportunity to develop artistically which has become rare in our fast-moving digital world,” explained Gerhard Hulka, Managing Director of ATP Innsbruck. “We are delighted that this donation enabled us to make our own humble contribution to this success.”
The announcement follows the earlier presentation to “bilding” of the 2016 New Building Award for the Province of Tyrol. Both prizes honor people and institutions that have rendered special service to the culture of building in Austria – in terms of both architecture and innovation.
