Green Light for Tyrolit

Groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of Plant 5

Schwaz, April 16, 2024 – Start of construction work on the expansion of the production facility in Stans, which has been integrally designed by ATP architects engineers! By enlarging Plant 5, Tyrolit, one of the leading global manufacturers of grinding and dressing tools, is making a key contribution to the strengthening of Tyrol as a technology location.

Expanding to accommodate an innovative production line
The objective of the Tyrolit Group in creating the extra 1,700 m2 of production space is to expand manufacturing capacity and invest in an innovative, fully-automatic production line. In future, this will manufacture Tyrolit’s newly-developed high-tech grinding tools, which are used in the creation of hard-coated brake discs. The high-tech production process will reduce the waste of materials and support the efficiency of the machining, pressing, loading, and unloading of the production units. The building should be completed in autumn 2024.
