Graz, 4th December 2018 – testing machines, trying vacuum cleaners, using cleaning products, touching materials. The newly-completed hollu Erlebniswelt, integrally designed by ATP Innsbruck, has much to offer and shows that hygiene can be fascinating.
“Together, we designed a building with a heart that resonates and can be felt in every corner,” said hollu Managing Director Simon Meinschad, delighted with the completion of the Graz outlet. With its 2,500 m2, spread across two stories, the ‘World of Experience’ invites visitors to immerse themselves in the world of hygiene. The architectural concept, which includes a cleaning academy and shop, was developed and tested in Graz for the first time. “Through perfectly coordinated, interdisciplinary cooperation we have created a retail model of which we can be proud”, reported the architect Werner Blunder, ATP Innsbruck.
The focus of the shop is the Communication Zone with café, advice and waiting area, and visitor workshop. And the in-house Hygiene Academy covers around 1,000 m2. The modern training rooms make it easy to imitate the settings of many practical examples: A variety of materials, floor surfaces and spaces offer the opportunity to test hygiene products.
