Kasan, 2nd December 2021 – As a pioneer in the development and application of BIM technology in Russia, ATP TLP Moscow was invited to participate in the Forum “Kazanysh”, where it was represented by Managing Director Kai-Uwe Reitmann and Project Leader Almaz Shakirov. In 2020, ATP TLP Moscow won the “BIM Technologies” Prize in an open competition organized by Russia’s Construction Ministry.
During the forum, Almaz Shakirov delivered a lecture entitled “BIM. Reboot”, in which he shed light on the history and special aspects of the use of BIM at ATP and described realized BIM scenarios and potential applications of BIM during all phases of the building lifecycle. “BIM isn’t a cure-all but, rather, aninstrument that solves specific problems. When used correctly it can be highly effective. The most important thing is to consider specific BIM tasks for each phase of the building lifecycle,” emphasized Almaz Shakirov.
In Russia, all publicly-financed projects must use BIM technologies from 1st January 2022 and all private projects from 2023.
Forum “Kazanysh,” which took place in Kasan from 1st to 3rd December, welcomed 250 visitors, including architects, urban experts, the largest Russian developers, and investment companies.
