Pfaffenhofen, 10th October 2020 – Good news for our Nuremberg office: Following its participation in a negotiation procedure, the ATP design team has been awarded the commission for the design of two psychiatry stations at the Danuvius Klinik in Pfaffenhofen.
The stations for general psychiatry and acute psychosomatics will gain an extra story in order to accommodate the rising number of patients in the building that was built in 2010. The start of construction in August should be followed by completion in early 2023.
The concept envisages the adding of around 8,390 m2 GFA in a solid timber building, whose flat roof is home to a photovoltaic plant. The design of the façade and internal spaces will refer to the existing building in order to maintain the uniform, harmonic overall appearance of the clinic.
