Rüschlikon, 11th January 2017 – The Swiss Digit!mmo Kongress which addresses the subject of digitalization in the real estate industry has taken place for the second time. The event enables real estate professionals to exchange views across a range of disciplines and offers founders of startups a platform for presenting themselves.
As a convinced user of BIM ATP CEO Christoph M. Achammer was a welcome speaker. In his presentation “The Digital Twin of the Building Lifecycle” he highlighted the ongoing digitalization of the building sector. BIM-supported integrated design creates maximum transparency in information about buildings. This forward-looking and lifecycle-oriented planning results in clear quality improvements. ATP architects engineers have been using BIM in the design of complex building projects since 2012.
A key item on the program was the presentation of the Digit!mmo awards. Ten young entrepreneurs took part in this year’s Real Estate Startup Pitch. The Startup Audience Award eventually went to eSmart, a company which develops intelligent building automation systems. Above all, the audience was convinced by the well-thought-out technology behind the tool.
