Graz, 5th July 2022 – The construction of the training center of the Styrian Economic Chamber, which was integrally designed by ATP, has begun. The groundbreaking ceremony for the “Center of Excellence” took place in the presence of local politicians. With state-of-the-art workshops and classrooms covering a total of 14,200 m2, the forward-looking training facility will strengthen Business Location Styria. “This is Styrian business investing in the future of Styrian business. The fundamental transition triggered by digitalization is transforming many trades and professions. We must prepare for this – through an optimal range of training and qualifications,” says Karl-Heinz Dernoscheg, Director of the Styrian Economic Chamber, commenting on the 41-million-euro project.
ATP Innsbruck won the open realization competition organized by the Economic Chamber in 2017 with its design of a self-confident structure that harmoniously combines with the existing buildings and a generous square at the heart of the Chamber’s complex to form the new training hotspot in Graz.
