London, 1st January 2020 – Numerus est omen! Or at least one could conclude as much from ATP’s position in the BD Ranking at the beginning of 2020: Because we are listed in the Top 20 of the world’s 100 largest architectural offices for the first time in our history. The result was announced by the jury of the well-known magazine BD in its annual study “Building Design’s annual survey of the top global practices”. With a growth of 25 architects we rose in the overall ranking from 22nd to 19th place
Strong in Switzerland
This upwards trend can be traced back to our refreshing newcomers from Switzerland. At the start of the year we became the main shareholders in Mint Architecture. As the leading integrated design office in Continental Europe we took this step to strengthen our group through the addition of specialist know-how in the user-oriented and experience-oriented design of commercial spaces and real estate.
Similarly based in Switzerland and also part of the group since last year is the consultancy company FactoryXperts. The relevant know-how of the leading international consultant to the baking industry slots in alongside the many years of food industry expertise of the ATP Group like a piece of a jigsaw.
2nd Place in WE and CEE
But it isn’t just the number of our employees that has risen in comparison with last year. In the league table based on contract volume we climbed to an impressive second place in both Western and Central & Eastern Europe. And in terms of specific markets we have been particularly successful in the areas of “Retail”, “Science + Production”, and “Environment”.
