ATP Hamburg Occupies Its New Offices

Comfortable, flexible, stylish – that’s how we work at ATP architects engineers, Hamburg

Hamburg, 26th May 2023 – Both the growing number of employees and the desire for a modern office concept meant that ATP architects engineers, Hamburg needed a larger office. The team marked the New Year by expanding the area of its offices to a total of 1,300 m2, which will provide even better support to the integrated design approach practised by ATP.

The planning of agile workspaces is one of ATP’s areas of expertise. Hence, many of the ATP Hamburg team were involved in drawing up the interior design concept. This meant not only that all their wishes were listened to, but also that a state-of-the-art working environment could be created, which is aligned with the team’s needs and processes while also embodying the New Work zeitgeist.

“The expansion of our office has enabled us to offer a broad range of differentiated working options. We can now use the office optimally for our working processes – from areas for concentrated work to the office’s collective and communicative heart,” says Albert Achammer, Managing Director of ATP Hamburg, explaining the advantages of the new spaces. The result combines a stronger group identity with the optimization of processes facilitated by the increased flexibility.

For example, one result of project-based work is that new groups and small teams are constantly being created. This can now be supported by the flexible office concept. By encouraging creativity and teamworking, this open, relaxed design thus reflects the values of ATP.

The choice of the interior finishes focusses on sustainable and durable materials. One particular highlight of the new central zone is the generous interior landscape with its projector. This area is principally used for joint presentations, but the furniture is also flexible, which allows meetings and events to take place. Members of the ATP team who need more quiet and privacy for important meetings or calls can find these in the spacious meeting rooms and boxes.

The small terrace that opens onto the courtyard and the kitchen with its bar character are already key communal meeting points – for the coffee break or an informal chat. The previous offices in the neighbouring building were remodelled and are now used for workshops and meetings. These are also home to the new materials library, which is curated and used jointly with ATP’s sister company, MINT Architecture. All in all, this is an office that is optimally aligned with the popular New Work concept and where one simply enjoys arriving, every morning.
