Yekaterinburg, 29th June 2022 – Representatives of construction companies, design organizations, and software developers came together at the 3rd Eurasian “BIM Community” Congress to discuss the latest developments in BIM technology. As a pioneer in the field of planning with BIM, ATP TLP Moscow took part in a podium discussion.
BIM implementation in the industrial sector
The subjects of the podium discussion entitled “BIM Industry: Clients & Builders” were the current challenges facing BIM implementation, the issues of design efficiency and speed of construction, and the role of BIM in integrated design. Against this background, Almaz Shakirov, project leader at ATP TLP Moscow, offered project-related insights into the extensive experience of ATP in the design of industrial facilities with the help of BIM.
“We are delighted that the congress continues to develop as a platform for exchanging knowhow in the area of BIM technologies. This is a clear indication of the fact that design with BIM continues to be supported in Russia,” was Almaz Shakirov’s positive summary of the congress.
The third edition of the “Eurasian BIM Community Congress” took place at the Ural Federal University in Yekaterinburg on 29th and 30th June. More than 200 experts participated live and around 1,300 more followed the congress online.
