2012-05-15 Nomination for State Prize
The Federal Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth awards a prize to ATP Innsbruck.
Vienna, 15th May 2012– During the course of an official ceremony at Studio 44, the Minister for the Economy and the Family, Reinhold Mitterlehner, presented the “Nomination for the State Prize for the Most Family Friendly Company 2012” to the Innsbruck headquarters of the ATP Group. The distinction goes to companies with family-sensitive personnel policies and who make it possible to combine family and career.
Of the 85 entries for the 2012 State Prize, the Innsbruck office of ATP was one of three nominated in its category. ATP had already been one of the best placed companies in the Tirol state competition in 2011. According to architect Robert Kelca, Managing Director of ATP Innsbruck, “we see ourselves as obliged to support our employees in a variety of ways. ATP Innsbruck is the seed out of which the family friendly approach of the entire ATP Group – which is part of the reason for our success as integrated designers - has developed. The professional and private concerns of every member of the team are taken seriously, which creates a working environment in which one feels good and enjoys ones job. The loyalty, sense of belonging and long-term commitment of many members of the ATP family is impressive.”
ATP has set itself the target of not only supporting the existing proportion of women in the areas of administration and architecture but also to increase to around a quarter the currently very low proportion of women in technical areas – especially in management positions. The Innsbruck office of the ATP Group currently has around 160 employees of whom 50 are women. Among many other things, ATP Innsbruck is home to the much-loved children´s day centre “ATPünktchen”, its own fitness club “ATP Health”, which is open to the whole family, offers training courses with childcare and flexible working times and supports the return of Mothers after maternity leave.
