Architecture with a perfect finish
ATP is creating a pioneering factory for a Tyrolean family company.
Schwaz, 3rd February 2016 – The ADLER Werk paint factory has existed for more than 80 years. And the family owners were keen to keep faith with the industrial location of Schwaz in Tirol. This is why they commissioned ATP Innsbruck to completely remodel the production complex in their home town.
The result is a 3,000 square meter facility which, upon completion, will be Europe’s most up-to-date production facility for water-based paints. The foundation stone was recently symbolically laid in the presence of the ATP team and the Mayor of Schwaz. As a result of ATP’s 40 years of experience as integrated designers, the building will become fully available to the client in just eight months. Christian Steurer, ADLER’s Head of Logistics is looking forward to being able to start production so soon: “thanks to state-of-the-art modular fabrication method, the facility will be able to produce up to 30,000 tons of water-based paint every year”.
The façade of the forward-looking facility will be built from a sustainable material – spruce – finished with the company’s own popular Pullex Silverwood varnish. This will give the building the technical image inherent to the architectural design.
