Research headquarters for the pharmaceutical industry

Success for ATP Vienna in an invited multiphase competition for the construction of a research headquarters at the Vienna production facility of Octapharma: This state-of-the-art research and development headquarters for both R&D and clinic research will bring together laboratories and offices for 100 employees under the same roof. The design of ATP’s winning project for the building, which was developed in cooperation with ATP sustain, permits changes of use by easing the resulting constructional interventions. The relationship between offices and laboratories can also be flexibly altered.

The competition phase had the character of a feasibility study, given that ATP was able to indicate new options and possibilities to the clients during a series of presentations and discussions due to its expertise in the laboratory and office sector. The result of this was that higher quality requirements were agreed in a number of areas.

Competition team: Horst Reiner, Dario Travas, Andreas Aichholzer, Tatiana Winkelmann, Efthimia Papaefthimiou, Gustav Trefil, Alexander Hatzl , Norbert Polt, Katharina Schmidt;
