German Design Award 2020

ATP gewinnt den begehrten Preis für die integrale Planung des innovativen HOFER ALPHA Retail Network

ATP Innsbruck can celebrate receiving the well-known German Design Award in the category “Excellent Architecture – Interior Architecture” for its integrated design of the new innovation center of the retail company HOFER in Eberstalzell in Upper Austria.
In this forward-looking flagship project, in which a production hall was transformed into a modern working environment, ATP offers an example of how to logically and attractively convert old buildings.

Contemporary ways of working
The new ALPHA Retail Network offers spacious and light-filled working spaces to not only Hofer employees but also students from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and young startups. In addition to open working areas and meeting points, the activity-based working concept also incorporates closed boxes as places of retreat.

The conclusions of the jury
“The emphatically open workspace offers a high level of variation and flexibility. The generous and intelligently structured layout incorporates workplaces and quiet areas as well as zones for meetings and concentrated working. The use of color also emphasizes the different areas and loosens up the design further. This is a successful example of modern, contemporary, and, in every respect, friendly design that leads one to expect an agreeable working atmosphere.
