1st Prize, BVB Basle Transport Company
The conceptual study by ATP kfp Zurich convinced the jury of the competition for the construction of the building and overhead cable workshop.
Having been transformed since its integration into the ATP Group from a simple architectural office into a fully fledged integrated design office, ATP kfp Zurich solved this complex design challenge in an exemplary integrated process. The objective of the competition was to critically appraise an existing conceptual study for the Basle Transport Company and to improve processes while also optimising the volumes of the buildings. The simultaneous and interdisciplinary cooperation of architects with structural and mechanical engineers and the other experts required in the process led to a result which convinced the jury.
