ATP Frankfurt wins first prize in a VOF procedure for the refurbishment of the municipal offices in Darmstadt-Dieburg.
The decision of the jury placed particular emphasis on ATP Frankfurt's expertise in dealing with existing buildings as well as the convincing proposal for the project organisation and the extremely competent design team. “The project requires a refurbishment project aimed at both saving energy and clearly improving the quality of the workspaces”, said architect Ulf Bambach, “with the aim of making a lasting contribution to both the quality of the building and the life of the municipality”.
Office areas will be reorganised and redesigned, the facade renewed and technical plant replaced and reduced to a minimum.
Construction work is to start in October 2010 and will be carried out with minimum disturbance to the activities in the ground and first floors of the building. Completion is planned for the second quarter of 2011.
