Munich, 15th – 20th September 2018 – Foodfab responded to the growing demand from the bakery industry for integrated consulting in the area of digital process planning by presenting its service offering at a stand at IBA 2018. Together with ATP Innsbruck and Fabsolutions, a factory planning consultant which has also been part of the ATP Group since June 2018, the company took the opportunity to enjoy informative discussions and make new contacts.
Foodfab’s comprehensive service offering is based on its core competence of digital integrated process planning. In this work, Foodfab can call upon the know-how of ATP’s 750 architects and engineers. This range of expertise attracted many interested visitors to the stand. “Our clients profit from the latest, digital design technology”, said Michael Trautwein, Managing Director of Foodfab. “The advantages of integrated design with BIM for the food industry can be seen in not only the higher quality, functionality and economic and ecological sustainability of the building but also the level of cost security. Dependable statements regarding cost and timetable can be made at an early point in the process. This creates certainty for clients.” The collected data flows into a computer model, which is developed into a “digital twin” for the design, construction and operating processes. This enables changes in parameters and the effects of such changes to be analyzed in detail.
