New Headquarters
Mercedes-Benz, Frankfurt
On a prominent triangular plot of land, a clearly structured new building was created, connecting the showroom, administration, and workshop. With its glass center, the new building makes an architectural statement in the urban environment.

The merger of the two locations Frankfurt and Offenbach required the construction of a new regional headquarters. The triangular plot is surrounded by the main traffic axis Frankfurt-Offenbach, an ICE route, a public foot and bike path, and green areas.
The L-shaped building is divided into three main structures. The design center is the glass showroom for presenting new cars. The open, bright exhibition hall forms a three-story airspace over two gallery levels. Externally, a dominant flat roof towers over the recessed post-and-beam facade.
To the east of the exhibition hall, the structures for the sale of used cars and delivery are located, and to the west, the workshop and storage area. Adjacent is the four-story administration building. The entrance, designed in accordance with the brand's corporate identity deep-black, contrasts with the glass main hall. In the customer contact areas on the ground floor, irregularly arranged shop windows accentuate the facade, while uniform, continuous window bands on the upper floors recall classic office buildings and calm the exterior view.
ATP led the project to DGNB certification in Gold with LCEE.
