Villa Eden

Exclusive Villas at Lake Garda

In a natural park filled with olive trees, eight exclusive residential buildings and a clubhouse were created – all with stunning views of Lake Garda. We were entrusted with the planning of three villas.

VILLA.SPHERE.NORD
This villa is prominently located adjacent to the clubhouse and is designed like an urban loft. The spacious kitchen-dining area designed as a front kitchen and the adjacent living room directly connect to the spa. The private areas are connected on the upper floor. The facade and floors, executed with cool materials and colors, and the large glass panels emphasize the modern loft character.

VILLA.SPHERE.OVEST
The villa's exposed position on a ridge allows direct views of the lake. Three volumes, housing the dining and living area, the lobby, the guest and fitness area, and the bedrooms, encircle a central terrace landscape with a pool.
The stone facade visually embeds the building into the topography of the Garda Lake landscape. No topographical changes are made to preserve the character of the olive grove.

VILLA.SPHERE.SUD
The east-west-oriented building utilizes the exposed location for a comprehensive panoramic view along its entire length. The building cuts into the landscape like a gap. A depression on the property creates sheltered garden and outdoor areas.
The outdoor areas seamlessly transition into the living level through floor-to-ceiling glazing. The projecting sleeping area on the upper floor hovers protectively over parts of the outdoor area and the dining and living area. All facade materials and floors follow the color scheme of typical Garda Lake architecture. Natural stone walls alternating with plaster facades or beige tinted exposed concrete support the compact exterior appearance. The floors are alternatively lined with olive parquet or travertine/limestone from the area.

Other villas on the site were designed by architects David Chipperfield, Richard Meier, and Matteo Thun. The landscaping was done by garden architect Enzo Enea, who transformed the entire property into a nature park on the slopes of Lake Garda.
