After winning the competition in 2023, we are planning the new headquarters of Schrack Technik. Flexibly usable and designed modularly in line with the Circular Economy, the environmentally friendly office building will combine central departments and sales offices under one roof.

With the groundbreaking ceremony in Vienna's Herziggasse, the construction of the new headquarters of Schrack Technik kicked off. Christian Pagitsch, ATP Managing Director in Vienna, and ATP Lead Project Manager Thomas Wirth celebrated together with their team and representatives of the client. The new building is necessary because the capacity limits have been reached at the current company headquarters. Completion is scheduled for 2027.

Focusing on Technology
The new headquarters is intended to be an identity-establishing workplace for employees. Bright, open spaces promote exchange and well-being. At the same time, the building itself becomes a showcase for Schrack's portfolio. Cable trays remain visible, distributions are deliberately shown, and Schrack products become part of the architecture. This creates a showroom for the in-house technology that allows visitors to experience the company's expertise and innovative strength.

Flexible and Sustainable
To be able to respond to new requirements in the long term, the spatial grid is designed to be maximally flexible. The facade and interior design are modularly designed, allowing for individual expansion as well as easy dismantling and reuse of components. The building can thus adapt to different forms of use over generations.

Climate-Friendly
" explains Lead Project Manager Thomas Wirth.

These measures include optimized insulation, energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, smart control technology, and resource-saving materials. The extensive greening concept on roofs and open spaces additionally contributes to improving the microclimate and reducing the heat island effect.
