Frankfurt, 4th to 9th May 2019 – All good things come in threes – or at least “every three years”. And this is the frequency with which the leading global fair in the meat industry takes place in Frankfurt. This year, ATP and foodfab were present again, for the seventh time in a row – because exhibiting together at a joint stand is a long-standing tradition. However, the subjects that they discussed and presented were far from traditional:
The many fascinating conversations with new and existing customers confirmed what we have felt for a long time: The fact that digitalization and automation are THE subjects driving the sector. However, as pioneers of integrated design with BIM, we find ourselves not amongst the driven but amongst the drivers of the process.
“In comparison with most of those accompanying the market we offer integrated operational planning (foodfab) and building planning (ATP) from a single source. This means that we are jointly in a position to help our customers to prepare in the best possible way for the smart factory of the future,” says Michael Trautwein, Managing Director of foodfab, explaining the company’s core role of advising food producers about the production and processing chain.
About the fair
The 1,039 exhibitors at the leading meat industry fair answered the many questions of the approximately 67,000 visitors from 149 countries. They presented innovative solutions related to the subject of meat on an exhibition space totaling 120,000 square meters.
The next IFFA will take place from 14th to 19th May 2022.
