Jörg Balow, Managing Director of ATP Berlin, has been reelected to the Expert Advisory Committee on Building Services of the Association of German Engineers

Berlin, 13th October 2021 – The building services and fire protection expert Jörg Balow, Managing Director of ATP architects engineers Berlin, has been reelected to the Expert Advisory Committee on Building Services of the VDI (Verein Deutscher Ingenieure e. V.) until the end of 2024. The committee has 25 expert members and its 200 VDI Guidelines play a major role in the technical regulation of building services in Germany.
Jörg Balow: “I’m delighted to have been reelected to this committee and to have the opportunity to continue working with the other members of the committee as we coordinate and align the guidelines in the area of building services in an active and forward-looking way.”

With around 140,000 members, the VDI, which was established more than 165 years ago, is Germany’s largest such technical-scientific body. Each year, more than 12,000 professionals contribute their time pro bono to the organization, processing the latest know-how and preparing the ground for the adoption of new technologies and new technical solutions.
