À la croate
Westgate, Zagreb
In just 15 months of construction, the largest shopping center in Croatia was built based on the plans of ATP Vienna and ATP Zagreb, covering a gross floor area of 227,000 square meters.

Like being embraced by a steel red tie – a reference to the Croatian origin of this fashion accessory ("à la croate"), this shopping center is located in front of the gates of Zagreb. Westgate is the centerpiece of Croatia's largest planned commercial agglomeration to date, the Shopping City Zagreb, a commercial, business, and leisure center on more than 1 million m2. Around 250 shops share the total retail space of 98,000 m2.
The internal development is designed as a triangular ring mall with ellipses at its corners as plazas for orientation. A 400 m2 ice rink, a bowling alley with international dimensions, and the 3,500 m2 indoor playground "Bogi Park" form the center of the entertainment area.
