The focus of the architectural concept is situated above the Kvarner Bay. The spectacular hillside location facing the sea dominates the design: The 25 m high, 7-story building appears to grow out of the rock. At the same time, typical local materials such as natural stone, the use of light colors, and a Mediterranean planting visually integrate the building into the topography of the Croatian coastal landscape.
The heterogeneous facade outwardly reflects the diversity of possible uses, hinting at the complexity of the interior space. Its contemporary design, large glass surfaces, and playfully broken facade elements point to the modernity of the entire architectural design.
The Riviera Center facing the sea combines various usage possibilities under one roof: shopping center, hotel, office, medical center, and parking garages. A particular highlight is the entertainment area planned on the roof with a spa, beach club, restaurants, and small football fields.
