KORNATA

Seating Landscape by ATP

The award-winning and exhibition-presented seating furniture KORNATA, designed by Dario Travaš, Design Director and ATP Partner in Vienna, is intended for semi-public spaces. It is preferably used in groups, including at the Museumsquartier Vienna and in shopping malls.

Inspired by the soft silhouette of the Kornati archipelago in the Croatian Adriatic, the elegant furniture provides space for six people. Each KORNATA consists of a 2-component polyurethane system, is weather and UV resistant, impact and scratch resistant.

The KORNATA was first presented to the public in 2009 in the MuseumsQuartier Wien. In 2010, the furniture was part of the exhibition 'Croatian Design 0910.' In 2013, it was included in the exhibition 'CLOUDS. World of the Ephemeral' at the Leopold Museum in the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna, where it was available for all visitors to linger and try out. Three KORNATAs have since been permanently located in the museum's atrium. In 2014, the design was awarded Silver at the International Design Award (IDA).
