Expansion of the Clinic Area

Centre Hospitalier du Nord Clinique St. Louis, Ettelbrück

The new building on the northwestern area of the existing clinic consists of examination and treatment rooms, care and service areas.

By arranging the functions in the lower floors and the angular layout of the care areas in the upper floors, short traffic routes and maximum exposure of the functional rooms to daylight are achieved. The architectural structure of the new clinic building was chosen to complement the existing clinic building and create a successful overall urban image. The center of the building is formed by the entrance hall leading over three floors, with an open staircase, an elevator group for visitors, information, and a cafeteria. Visually, the entrance hall is expanded by a visual connection to the landscaped outdoor areas.
