Nomination for a TRIGOS Award 2013
ATP architects engineers Innsbruck amongst the nominees from across Austria.
Vienna, 24th April 2013 – ATP Innsbruck was successful amongst the 188 entries for the TRIGOS Österreich 2013, the much sought-after prize for both integrated engagement in the social and ecological fields and corporate responsibility: The office, with 166 employees the largest in the ATP Group, was selected as one of the six medium-sized companies from across Austria nominated in the category “Integrated CSR Engagement”. We are delighted with this success and its recognition of our ATP-wide efforts to establish integrated corporate management.
The statement explaining the nomination of ATP refers on one side to the “integrated approach to the design of buildings which makes it possible to maintain a holistic view of both the design process and the effects of this on nature, on how people live and on economic sustainability”. The jury placed particular emphasis on the way in which this approach addressed the total life-cycle of properties as a means of creating buildings which last long and retain their value. Attention was also paid to such internal company measures as the implementation of an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, “which underlines the company’s pioneering role within the building industry.” “Regarding its employees, the company supports the ergonomic and individual design of all working areas”. The introduction of the “ATP Health Club” as a means of promoting fitness and health and comprehensive training opportunities also convinced the jury…as did the company’s commitment to the support of women and families.
The TRIGOS is Austria’s leading award for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The prize is awarded for corporate responsibility by organizations and institutions from business and civic society including Caritas, the Red Cross, the Umweltdachverband, the Federation of Austrian Industries and GLOBAL 2000.
