Enlarged top team at ATP kfp Zürich

Michael Gräfensteiner becomes a managing director.

Zurich, 11th July 2016 – The management team of ATP kfp Zürich has been enlarged to three people for the second half of the year. Michael Gräfensteiner now shares responsibility for the leadership of ATP’s Swiss office with the ATP Partner Alfred Wegmann (until the end of 2016) and the architect Matthias Wehrle. “It is both pleasing and enriching to start working with ATP and I am very much looking forward to the upcoming challenges,” said the new Managing Director.

A native of the city, Gräfensteiner graduated in architecture from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in 1989. After spending some time in a range of architectural offices, he ran his own office as a self-employed architect for 15 years during which he realized numerous residential, commercial and infrastructural buildings. Until recently, Gräfensteiner was responsible for the buildings division of a large engineering company, where he cooperated closely in a team alongside structural and building services engineers. This simultaneous and interdisciplinary cooperation has formed the core of the integrated design approach of ATP architects engineers for more than 40 years

Since 2009 ATP kfp Zürich has also been part of the internationally active design office ATP architects engineers. With its 35 employees, the Zurich office is active as a specialist for the integrated design of lifecycle-oriented buildings in Switzerland and Southern Germany.

We are delighted to welcome Michael Gräfensteiner to the ATP family and wish him and his team great success.
