Laying of the foundation stone for the SES shopping center in Ried
Creation of a new urban district for shopping and relaxing
Ried, 4th December 2013– A paving stone with the inscription “2013” was cast in the presence of 100 guests and members of the construction team to mark the official laying of the foundation stone of the SES Shopping Center in Ried. In December the first concrete floor plate of the near two hectare site will be poured. The major constructional phase including the concrete, steel, timber and roofing work will be completed by the end of 2014. The opening is planned for mid-2015.
The client, SES Spar European Shopping Centers, is investing more than 70 million euros in the construction. The architecture of the city center shopping district will integrate harmoniously with the urban landscape, taking on the existing connection with the retail structure of the historic town center.
