ATP CEO Christoph M. Achammer is the architectural representative on the jury for the European Retail Real Estate Awards. This year's Prize-winners were named at the European Conference.
Berlin, 18 -19.04.2012– Europe’s best shopping centres were chosen by a distinguished jury at the European Conference of the ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers). Christoph M. Achammer represented architects alongside the investors, retailers, operators, sustainability experts and market specialists on the nine-person jury.
The ICSC‘s European Shopping Centre Awards are Europe’s best-known awards for retail real estate. They present a unique opportunity for architects, developers, owners and operators to demonstrate their competence and their innovative projects as an example for the entire branch.
Consisting of top experts from across Europe, the jury first made a pre-selection from all the entries in each of the six categories. These finalists were then visited by the jury and analysed in detail. Subsequently, in a final jury meeting, prize-winners were named in each category and then presented during the conference. The prize-winners will participate in next year’s ICSC Best-of-the-Best awards.
ATP won one of these (Best-of-the-Best/Sustainability) in 2009 for its design for the ATRIO, receiving the title “Shopping Center of the World“.
