ATP is a double winner at the IDA Awards as well as being named "Architekt of the Year".
Los Angeles, 1st July 2013– Architecture, interior design, fashion, product and graphic design are annually celebrated at North America’s best known design awards. ATP’s design for G3 Shopping Resort won 1st prize in the category architecture/new commercial ahead of more than 1,000 entries from 52 countries and the company will feature on the official IDA website for the next twelve months as “Architect of the Year”.
The Kornata, which was designed for semi-public spaces by ATP Vienna’s Head of Design Dario Travas and has already been widely exhibited and received a number of prizes, received a silver award.
The aims of the International Design Awards are to celebrate the world’s most visionary designers, discover new and ambitious talent and promote the global understanding of design.1) Members of the jury of the 7th International Design Award in L.A., USA, were editors and opinion formers in the design field including Qingyun Ma, Dean of Architecture, University of Southern California; Gwynne Pugh, Pugh+Scarpa Architects; Kahi Lee, host of "Design on a Dime" from HGTV and "My Celebrity Home" from Style Network; Rido Busse, Chair, German Industry and Trade Board; John Dunnigan, Chair, Department of Furniture, Rhode Island School of Design; Brandusa Niro, Chief Editor and Founder, Fashion Week Daily.
