Maisach, 1st March 2022 – The diggers have started work: Spring temperatures greeted the launch of the construction of Tyrolit’s new production and office building at its existing Maisach facility. The new building is necessary because the existing one no longer meets the client’s requirements. ATP Innsbruck was commissioned with the integrated design of the new and energy-efficient facility, which is conceived to perfectly meet the needs of employees and optimize internal processes.
The ground floor of the new building includes a delivery area, workshops with associate storage space, and a pallet warehouse. The upper level, which is built of timber, is home to the state-of-the-art offices. The visible timber in the interiors, the generous amounts of daylight flooding in through strip windows, and a comfortable roof terrace with views out over the green surroundings guarantee a pleasant working atmosphere.
The ATP design team has paid great attention to the efficient use of resources and energy: For example, Austrian wood was used for the façade and the interiors. A roof-mounted PV-plant supplies the building with adequate amounts of electricity, while excess energy is fed into the heating circuit via a heating element. Visitors and employees can make use of an e-charging station, which can be expanded if required.
