BROOKKAMP Groundbreaking Ceremony

ATP has designed two halls for a light industrial and logistics park in Billbrook, Hamburg

Hamburg, 18th October 2022 – Construction work has started at “BROOKKAMP” light industrial and logistics park in Billbrook, Hamburg’s largest industrial zone. ATP was commissioned by INBRIGHT Development GmbH with the integrated design of two halls with office areas and a parking garage for employees.

The design takes into account the different uses of the halls (logistics and light industrial) and permits maximum possible flexibility thanks to, for example, a range of building services concepts. A special challenge for the ATP design team was the reorganization of the car and truck traffic in the tight space and the introduction of a one-way system for trucks.

Sustainable
Both halls are built in line with the “Efficient Building 40” standard and are seeking DGNB Gold certification. The environmentally-friendly energy concept includes the partial planting of the roofs, air-air heat pumps, and PV plant. The sustainable material wood is used both inside and outside the building – such as in the form of the façade cladding or the timber roof structure.
