Moscow, 24th November 2021 – ATP TLP Moscow participated in the first unified Eurasian congress “BIM Community 2021: People. Technologies. Processes”. As a member of the panel addressing the subject of technologies, Almaz Shakirov, Project Leader at ATP TLP Moscow, delivered a lecture entitled “BIM Practice in the Operational Phase of a Residential Building.”
The lecture addressed the integration of BIM technologies in all phases of the building lifecycle. Using the example of the residential complex “Eleven” in Moscow – as a successfully realized integration of digital solutions – Almaz Shakirov illustrated the transition process from a BIM model to a dynamic database for the operation of the building. The use of BIM technologies in the operational phase enables superfluous paperwork to be avoided, the labor costs of the administration company to be significantly reduced, and general operational efficiency to be increased: “The project duration is optimized by the introduction of a shared database, while the use of BIM in the operational phase becomes part of the overall concept for the data management in all phases of the lifecycle of the facility,” summed up Shakirov.
The congress, which was organized by the National Association of Organizations in Information Modeling Technologies (NOTIM), took place in Moscow’s State University of Construction on 23rd and 24th November. The objective of the event was to bring together experts involved in developing and implementing digital technologies in building processes, in order to create a unified platform for collecting relevant information about digital innovations in the construction sector and to develop universal approaches to forming a business model that ensures the most effective switch to BIM.
