Topping-out ceremony: ATP Nuremberg designed a modern ward building for 180 beds

Passau, 7th September 2022 A key milestone has been reached: The shell & core structure of the new ward building at Klinikum Passau has been completed. The Managing Directors of ATP Nuremberg, Andreas Rieser and Tobias Schwarz, celebrated the topping-out ceremony along with their team, client representatives, and local politicians.

“It’s a fantastic project, not least considering the very high quality standards of the Klinikum”, says a delighted Tobias Schwarz, commenting on progress on site. “Our design pays particular attention to the creation of an optimal health care environment for both patients and employees.”

The 120-meter-long, six-story ward building on Sechzehnerstraße in the clinic complex designed by ATP Nuremberg should be completed by late summer 2024. The state-of-the-art hospital building with around 180 patient beds will also contain space for the Geriatric Department, a palliative station that will be increased from six to 12 beds and internal and operative stations for the Oncology and Gynecology Departments.
