Bolzano, 23rd April 2021 – ATP’s Board Member for Building Services, Professor Thilo Ebert, has also belonged to the five-member Scientific Advisory Council of the Institute for Renewable Energies of EURAC Research in Bolzano since April. The Advisory Council develops scientific specifications and strategic guidelines, reviews research work, and advises the key committees in in all specialist scientific matters. The building services and BIM expert is thus an important point of contact for the largest (25-member) research group of the Institute for Renewable Energies – the group concerned with the energy efficiency of buildings.
“This activity offers me a profound insight into the projects of and ongoing developments at EURAC Research, as a result of which it is also a good starting point for future cooperation,” says Ebert. ATP’s in-house research company in the field of sustainable building, ATP sustain, also already works successfully with EURAC Research. One example of this cooperation is the research project CRAVEzero, which is developing methods for indicating potential cost savings both in the design phase and across the entire building lifecycle.
