Munich, 5th October 2017 – Expo Real, the real estate fair, turned a special spotlight on accelerating digitalization and the latest technological trends and organized a series of expert discussions in this area. Christoph M. Achammer, ATP, offered exciting insights into “The Status and Possibilities of Modern Integral Construction Processes” in a podium discussion with Ben van Berkel, UNStudio, and Alexander Kappes, Wolff & Müller.
Young startups were also invited this year to present their innovative, digital solutions for the building sector and swap ideas with leading companies. According to Achammer, “digitalization is the future of the building industry and this means that companies – especially young startups – are addressing this subject intensely. Here they have the opportunity to actively shape the digitalization process.” The Real Estate Innovation Network (REIN) enabled young entrepreneurs including the winners of the IGLZ Startup Contest Digital Building Solutions (DBS) to take their place at Expo Real.
ATP, one of the leading integrated design offices, has been working consistently with Building Information Modeling since 2012. Professor Christoph M. Achammer is CEO of ATP architects engineers, a member of the advisory board of REIN, and Honorary President of the IGLZ.
