Vienna, 15th–16th September 2023 – ATP architects engineers joined the European Architects’ Alliance (EAA) at a joint event in mid-September. The EAA is an association of architecture and design offices with more than twenty member companies across Europe. It was founded in London in 1999 and is based on the principle of beneficial multilateral cooperation – through the exchange of international experience and local knowhow. The founding members were GMW London, Serau Paris, and IMB Asymetria Krakau (now ATP Asymetria Kraków).
Witold Gilewicz, managing director of ATP Asymetria Krakow and EAA co-founder on the alliance: “EAA group participants invite investors and developers to cooperate by offering the highest quality, modern, environmentally friendly, budget-conscious design solutions.”
In mid-September, ATP Vienna hosted this year’s EAA meeting. The two-day event also included ATP’s official joining of the association. “The core value of cooperation – interdisciplinary and between offices as well as with other companies – has been anchored in the culture of ATP architects engineers since the very start,” said Franz Gruber, Managing Director of ATP Vienna, in a delighted reaction to this accession to the European Architects’ Alliance. “Only together can we pursue the goal of achieving the interplay between aesthetics, function, and construction and a balanced outcome for the environment, people, and the economy.” A brief introduction to the activities of the members from across Europe was followed by a productive discussion about interesting opportunities for future collaboration. The following day, ATP introduced its international colleagues to three fascinating ATP projects: the BOKU hydraulic engineering laboratory at Brigittenauer Sporn in Vienna’s 20th district, the Technology Center in Aspern, which is operated by the Vienna Business Agency, and G3 Shopping Resort in Gerasdorf.
