Vienna, 10th September 2020 – The Travel Industry Club Austria invited guests to a fascinating networking session in the Hotel Andaz Vienna with experts from the tourist and real estate industries. The focus of the evening was the sustainable project design of tourist infrastructure and the incorporation of key environmental technologies.
In his keynote address, Horst Reiner, ATP Board Member and Managing Director of ATP Vienna, spoke to the expert audience about the challenges of digitalization in design. As an early mover in the BIM scene he offered fascinating insights into integrated design processes at ATP and the internal development of algorithmic design as an alternative method for solving complex problems in the design process. During the ensuing podium discussion Horst Reiner joined Jasmin Soravia, the Head of the Urban Land Institute in Austria, Alexander Ipp, Managing Director of Ipp Hotels, Theodor Kubak, Managing Partner of value-one holding AG, and Frans Jan Soede, Managing Director of HAM independent hospitality & tourism advisors to discuss a range of approaches to appropriately investing in the sustainable development of the tourism sector.
