ÖGNI/DBNB Auditor Michael Haugeneder (ATP sustain) spoke about Vienna's Design Tower.
Vienna, 12.04.2013 – The flagship sustainability project was discussed in the academic setting of blueBUILT 2013, which took place at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, (BOKU) in Vienna. This was the first year in which ÖGNI and ÖGNB joined forces to issue invitations to blueBUILT. The event took place together with the Auditor’s Club, where auditors and members of the ÖGNI and ÖGNB enjoyed the oppotrunity to share experiences.
ATP sustain was represented by ÖGNI/DGNB and BREEAM auditor Michael Haugeneder. Together with his team he accompanied the hotel and retail sustainability audits of the Design Tower, Praterstraße 1, Vienna, home of the 5 star Hotel Sofitel and the design superstore Stilwerk. The UNIQA Versicherungen AG was awarded the blueCARDs for the Design Tower in December 2011 and 2012.
blueBUILT 2013 also offered the opportunity for a presentation of aspern IQ, a Plus Energy office building designed by ATP Architects and engineers, Vienna, which is the holder of both a klima:aktiv Quality declaration and a ÖGNB TQB Certificate.
