Groundbreaking ceremony for an educational center
Holzgau, 30.03.2015 – The groundbreaking ceremony for the new building which combines a school, kindergarten, nursery, childcare facilities and sports hall under a single roof took place despite the cold and wet weather.
An open timber and glass complex will be completed by 2016 in line with the competition-winning design by ATP sphere. The large glazed façade with seat-high window sills and natural materials creates a feel-good atmosphere. Intended for project and craft lessons, the adjoining “Alpine Park” offers a variety of experiences for all age groups.
“Designing for children is an interesting and attractive task for us. At ATP sphere we are very busy addressing new concepts designed to meet special tasks – such as educational buildings,” explained the architect and ATP partner Marc Mark.
