German Housing Award 2019

ATP Munich makes it onto the shortlist of Germany’s 30 best residential building projects.

The jury of the “German Housing Awards 2019” presented the high-rise building, which was integrally designed with BIM, with an award in the “residential tower” category.

One decisive reason for the decision was the high-quality floor plans, which meet the stringent requirements for both the maximum use of space and high cost-effectiveness, despite the tower’s slender cross-section of just 16 x 16 meters. The aesthetic of the IN-Tower is based on a powerful urban silhouette combined with the white balconies and parapets, which wrap around the tower like moving horizontal strips with a total length of almost two kilometers, enveloping it in a form of dynamic dress.

About the award
The German Housing Award was presented for the first time in 2019. It honors the country’s best residential building projects in the categories aesthetic design, experimental approach, generational living, innovative façades, mix of uses, sustainable energy concept, densification, participative design, district development, revitalization, social housing, and residential towers.
