Landmark for Ingolstadt

ATP Munich won the developer competition for a residential and commercial tower in Ingolstadt. The IN-TOWER, a 50-meter-high building with 80 apartments of a range of sizes is perched on a four-story base which is earmarked for retail and restaurant use.

In urban design terms, the 16-story tower acts as a link between the new station building and the “Glacis” – the green belt that surrounds the old town. The powerful tower accentuates the entrance to the new North Station. It will provide railway travelers with the clearly recognizable message that they have arrived in Ingolstadt.

Organizer: PDI Property Development Investors

Competition team: Thomas Mattesich, Florian Beck, Stefan Hannebaum, Jan Hirschlein and Christoph Dallmann (architectural students from the University in Stuttgart), Thomas Gerg
