ICONIC AWARD

ATP Innsbruck has received the prestigious ICONIC AWARD in the “INTERIOR” category for the new HOFER ALPHA Retail Network Innovation Center in Eberstalzell in Upper Austria.
In this forward-looking project, ATP transformed a former 23,000 m² production hall into a multifunctional center that offers space to not only HOFER employees but also startups and students from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.

A focus on people
The principle of “activity-based working” is aligned with people’s individual needs and creates an unconventional atmosphere, which facilitates creative work at flexible workspaces. Hence, generously organized working spaces that are planted with real trees are laid out below the seven-meter-high  shed roof. Opportunities to retreat and to hold meetings and seminars are offered by special office zones, whose timber and steel structures enable them to float like ships at mezzanine level.
ATP Innsbruck integrally supported the development of this innovative project in every specialist area and all design phases as well as developing the color and material concepts and the furniture.

About the award
The ICONIC AWARD is an internationally recognized competition for architects and designers. Every year, it honors the very best projects in the areas of visionary, innovative, and sustainable architecture and interior design. The prize is awarded by the German Design Council, a leading global competence center for communication and knowledge transfer in the areas of design, brands, and innovation.
