A commitment to quality and a professional vision for the future at the growing office

Managing director Vienna Corporate news

An experienced leadership team is taking the helm at our Vienna office in the shape of the architects Petra Maier, Christian Pagitsch, and Hannes Achammer. Following a transition phase, they will succeed Horst Reiner and Werner Kahr and take the successful development of the office to the next stage.

More than 200 architects and engineers from Austria and many other countries work at ATP Vienna, the second-largest planning office of the ATP Group. In September, ATP expanded its leadership team in Vienna and integrated new top managers, whose role will be to guide the office towards a stable and vibrant future. While Horst Reiner is retiring at the end of the year, Werner Kahr is joining the Executive Board of the holding company. We are delighted to present the new leadership trio:

Petra Maier, the Managing Director/Architecture, is a new member of the ATP family. She studied at TU Graz and in Vienna and, during this time, played an active role in the cultural avant-garde, including as Managing Director of the Forum Stadtpark artists’ association. The experienced architect and leader brings valuable expertise from her time as a creative manager and as head of a design department responsible for projects largely focused on the health sector.

I’m looking forward to assuming responsibility for complex projects and to joining my colleagues in working on such burning issues as sustainability, New Life, the Green Deal, and architectural quality.

Christian Pagitsch is assuming the role of Managing Director/Engineering. As a Senior Architect and Associate Partner, he has been making a major contribution to the success of ATP architects engineers for the past twelve years. Pagitsch trained at TU Graz and the Universidad Central de Venezuela and, besides his professional commitment to sustainability in design and construction, he has also been focusing, since 2003, on the issues of digitalization, parametric design, rapid prototyping, and digital forms of cooperation in design, research, and teaching.

I treasure the many years of close cooperation with my colleagues at ATP. My personal motivation comes from the opportunity to actively shape planning processes and optimally prepare ATP for the looming socio-economic changes in the areas of digitalization, refurbishment, and sustainability.

Hannes Achammer, a long-standing Associate Partner and experienced architect, is supporting the new Managing Directors in his role as Authorized Signatory. Educated as an architect at TU Wien and ETSAB Barcelona, he also trained previously in the field of electrical engineering. With extensive practical experience gained over 17 years at ATP Vienna as a Lead Project Manager of complex buildings and as an Architecture Group Leader, he is now placing his expertise at the service of the development of the office.

As part of the integrated management team, I’ve given myself the target of developing the commitment to quality and professional vision for the future that are intrinsic to ATP’s brand and corporate culture even further, and also of establishing ATP as an attractive employer for a new generation of architects and engineers.
