Award for the Renovation of Emmendingen District Hospital
Our concept convinced in the VgV tendering process for the restructuring and renovation measures at Kreiskrankenhaus Emmendingen. Our experts in healthcare construction deliberately develop the building from the 1970s further and create contemporary, efficient conditions for care, operation, and everyday work.
In the VgV tendering process, we were awarded the contract for the renovation of the Emmendingen District Hospital. The project is part of the gradual development of the hospital and contributes to the long-term assurance of medical care in the region.
We are very excited about this milestone! With the next phase of construction, we are creating a modern environment where our patients feel well taken care of – and where our employees enjoy working.

Our concept includes the modernization of building structures as well as the improvement of energy efficiency and operational processes. An essential part is the optimization of patient care: Three-bed rooms will be transformed into one and two-bed rooms with private wet rooms – for more comfort and safety. All measures are designed to be implemented in clearly defined construction phases while operations continue.
In our solution proposal, we have not only thoroughly analyzed the client's task, but also thought ahead strategically, identifying additional optimization potentials.

Among other measures are optimized routes for staff, logistics, and patients, clearly coordinated functional interfaces, as well as flexible spatial concepts for the long-term adaptability of the stations and efficient hospital operations.
