Feel-Good Offices for the CURA COSMETICS GROUP

ATP Innsbruck planned the rebuilding and expansion of the corporate headquarters of the cosmetics service providers

Innsbruck, January 2020 “New year, new working environment!” is the slogan for the new headquarters of the CURA COSMETICS GROUP. The building complex, which was designed by ATP for the cosmetics service providers on a site on the northeastern edge of Innsbruck in 2015, was already expanded last year. The reason for the need to expand is the strong growth and diversity of the product range of the CURA COSMETICS GROUP. ATP was once again commissioned to deliver the integrated design.

Around 3,000 extra square meters were created through small modifications within the existing building and the addition of a “twin office building”. At the same time, it was possible to reinforce the existing high quality corporate image and the exclusivity of the “Judith Williams” brand through the creation of an area of semi-public parkland and the relocation of the parking spaces behind the buildings. Other new elements include a flagship store (the “Judith Williams Beauty World”) and a childcare facility (“Curalino”). Creative areas for Activity Based Working (ABW) expanded the office floors, which were given a modern and flexible design by the D+R team from ATP Innsbruck. In order to increase the feel-good factor of the employees even further, the client also provided the budget for a climatic optimization of the office volumes.

“Our ambitious aim was to create workspaces where we ourselves would love to work every day”, recalls the Lead Project Manager, the architect Andreas Bause, explaining the idea behind the office concept. For example, so-called “team walls” – curtains that enable the teams to zone their own meeting spaces – and partly-glazed space-dividing shelving with integrated telephone boxes, niche seating, and greenery mean that the offices can be used with an enormous level of flexibility.
